The operating efficiency of deep hole drill is directly related to the system integration of its supporting equipment. The staged feeding strategy unique to deep hole drill requires a multi-axis linkage control system, which is incompatible with the unidirectional motion logic of the standardized drilling program.


The compact design of the tool change mechanism needs to balance the quick-change interface and torque transmission efficiency. The modularity of the conventional turret cannot adapt to the special clamping requirements of the deep hole drill handle. The integrated position of the vibration monitoring sensor directly affects the vibration suppression effect. The data acquisition port configuration of general equipment often lacks directional coupling function. The stress distribution optimization of the workpiece clamping device needs to consider the additional bending moment caused by the drill rod deflection. The single-point pressure mode of the traditional chuck may aggravate the hole position deviation.


In addition, the modular transformation of deep hole drill is breaking through the traditional boundaries of special machine tools, but its function release is always limited by the system reconstruction depth of the main equipment.
